What's you favorite Vita game? Why? Least favorite? Most middle-of-the-road Vita game? How about a Vita game you'd give 8.32 out of 10 to? Why not 8.31 or 8.33?

One of the moments that blew me away was one of the puzzles in uncharted, you had to hold the vita to a real life light source in order to shine through a piece of paper in the game. Was a cool moment I'll always remember

The vita was a great handheld. Sony definitely screwed up with the memory cards.

So Youtube is rolling out forced 480p to mobile devices starting today. Computer and TV users can still select up to 1080p. So if you're getting 480p only, don't blame me, blame stupid Youtube. It's in 1080p for me and lots of others.

Joe thanks so much for continuing the channel even though Dave left. I know im probably late but I have been a long time fan and really appreciate your content. You make me smile on bad days and make me look into games i never would have otherwise. Anyway thank you i just wanted you to know i really appreciate your work. Keep smiling :)

Love the Vita. It's the best portable way to play PSP games, and I so wish that I had picked up a PSTV when they were $40 on clearance.

Just gonna mention Freedom Wars since nobody ever does. It's a Monster Hunter-style game where you play someone in the orwellian, post apocalyptic future of 102014, with a million year prison sentence to your panopticon, and the only way to reduce it is to grab some weapons, head out and fight giant robots sent out by other panopticons to steal your panopticon's people. The game has a bunch of unique bits to it: 1: The Thorn, a grappling hook-esque tool that you can use to grab onto walls, opposing forces and the giant robots. 2: A lot of the robots can be cut apart (assuming you're using a light melee weapon or have the one specific support item that allows you to do it) and it'll grant you extra resources. 3: Alongside your human/NPC partners, you also have a android/gynoid partner known as an Accessory, which you can equip and customise too. All players have one, and so do all the NPCs, and since you can have a team of 4 humans, that means that when you have a full squad, it's more like having 8 fighters on the field at once. Seriously fun game, I'd recommend it to anyone interested in the Vita, as it's only about $15 too for a really high quality game.

TxK is by lamasoft, jeff minter's company. He was the one who created Tempest 2000. It can't really be a ripoff. 😉
-
Txk is from the same programmer as tempest. Jeff minter is a legend. I have been playing his games since the commodore 64.

Every other Sunday when Game Sack uploads is a happy Sunday.
-
I like how time is flying by so fast that it feels like I'm binge watching a show that only comes on every other Sunday.
-
Game Sack is the reason I don't have adblock. I want this channel to go on forever. (Edit: also Patreon!)
-
I had no idea it had an OLED screen. That's really impressive considering when it was released. Heck, that's impressive for today!
-
still remember people kicking off about the "memory card" on the Vita, since one wasn't bundled with it and they cost a fortune compared to a SD card
-
The vita was a solid system, Persona 4 Golden got me hooked on it
-
I'm curious what vita oleds will be like in another 10-15 years. Even with the care i've taken to protect my system and baby it, there are still signs of the display breaking down on my 2 oled systems from use. Seen it with friends' systems too even with much less use than mine.
-
I get the shirt Joe...PS Vita is the Dreamcast of handhelds! I still use mine to this day.
-
Absolutely adore the Vita to this day. Easily my favorite handheld system. There were so many amazing experiences on there that never got the appreciation they deserved.
-
TxK isn’t necessarily a rip off of Tempest as it was developed by Jeff Minter, who developed Tempest 2000 and 3000.
-
A system I wanted to love, but ultimately it falls short of the 3DS on software for me and fails to captivate. I still play mine occasionally, but certainly not as much as I wish I would.
