Synduality Echo of ADA Preview - I Didn't Know This Was an Extraction Shooter...

I hope that there is a singleplayer story mode. The gameloop is more "relaxed" from what you would expect from a mecha game and it is fun, but after a while it gets really repetitive.

Finally, someone talking about this game! I was originally interested in this one as I love the anime. I also had no idea what type of game it would be. I must admit I was disappointed to see it's an extraction shooter. But that didn't stop me from spending way more time than expected creating my waifu, lol! And then even more time watching her do silly things in those awesomely animated scenes from the base menu. 😂

I didn't know it was an Extraction Shooter either since the trailers focused on the story. Having watching the anime the trailers heavily implied revealing Ada and Alba's backstory being told with this game so you couldn't really tell it would be Extraction Shooter.

Thanks for the preview! I noticed this game a bit back and was keeping an eye out for it. I had no idea it was an extraction shooter, though. Kind of a bummer. I may still give it a go but I was hoping it would be narrative focused single player(maybe coop)and tie into the anime. PvP is not really my thing these days.

Played the beta and loved it. So much fun and it was pretty intense at moments. I really liked the customization of your mech and Magus

Never heard of this until now but it looks really great! Awesome to see it's coming to all 3 major platforms as well.

I REALLY hope they add ways to avoid the PvP in this game. Like maybe being able to host private servers or a system where you have to accept a PvP battle, or one that gives you a passive mode in exchange for materials being worth slightly less or something. Id so much rather have fun playing a 4 player co-op objective or just a horde mode where i can relax and focus on the story and setting instead of constantly stressing about being griefed. I loved the anime and even have some of the model kits it'll really suck if i have to miss out on the game because it ends up like Exoprimal where its just PvP everywhere with a sprinkling of PvE

This game turn out way different than I imagine . Hopefully this works out for Bandai . Them and square Enix intentionally created multi media project game and anime struggle for them

The mechs make me think of Sakura Wars.

on the steam page it mentioned Single Player but......... i take it there isn't any. Do all extraction shooters have to be multiplayer only?

I was in the beta, and i had some latency issues, and the pvp part was super annoying. Id clear out enemeies get my crystal and then out of no where some jerk would come in kill me and take all my crud

Do you know if this has gyroscopic aim for console on it?

I thought the game was going to be more in line with Titanfall combat, it doesn't seem the case, sad, also the customization seems lacking unless that feature wasn't shown, I was expecting that I could replicate the mechs of the Anime, too bad, but it seems pretty good overall.

it would be really funny if a wanted player was highlited in the full game. each so that everyone that wanted to hunted them down or avoid could do it but not to the extend of game legal wall hacks

I was super jazzed for this game until I played the beta. The cute AI waifu character will not shut up. She makes Navi look tight-lipped.
