Studio channel or main channel, I would love to see MKBHD cover cameras again… that aren’t in smartphones
  • @raviteja67
MkBHD : they are not made for real people that exist… obviously bro have you seen the prices 😭😭

Loving this review style, switching back from comments/first impressions from the team and a sit down, talk to the camera review with Marques. It works really well on this channel.
  • @txma.
The Studio channel has slowly cemented itself as my favorite channel on youtube; high quality community/behind the scenes content. It feels more connected and real than the MKBHD main channel
  • @tomsunday
Thats an interesting camera. I wish I could try it out in the mountains of NY but at that price point it may as well be a dream. Thanks for info MKBHD, you rock buddy!

I shot Hasselblad for years. It was ridiculously huge for a woman’s hands, but the results could never be rivaled. And, no one ever questioned that I was the professional in the room.

I understand the reason for having a camera that does photo's and video, it's great for many but shit, it's exhausting to hear people speak about a camera that doesn't do video as a let down. For many, a camera that only does photography and not video it's a relief.

Hasselblad is for someone like me. I bought RED Monstro 8K mainly for Hobby because i like the video it does. I dont care that DSLR would be better for travel and its lighter. I wanted the experience of RED. And you need to want Hassel feel otherwise you wont enjoy working with it

I love that you are a camera enthusiast just like so many of us and understand the beauty of decelerated photography

This is the type of content I imagine the studio channel is for. The most niche of tech opinions that effects how the Studio works. Please more of this, I love this.

Such a cool video! Love the editing between marques sitting and talking about it and the rest of the team frenetically getting pictures and editing. The contrast is compelling.
  • It is so inspiring watching the way all you guys from "The Studio" go about your work and how humble and passionate you are about what you do!

I’m old and shot film, mostly black and white with medium format camera systems in the 80s. Whoa! Hasselblads were standard in studios: fashion and advertising. Plus weddings. Top of the line medium format cameras. Leica for 35mm for field/street shooting.
  • @NatVoisey
Appreciate a deep dive on the Hasselblad. I’ve always been fascinated by massive modern medium formats.
  • @Krieky
I really, really like that the vibe of The Studio is different from the other channels, especially how this particular video looked. These are not just different versions of the main channel. Great work, team! There is something, um, magnetic? I don't know what it is, in the way Brandon takes you through his process. Maybe it's just watching the creative process take shape that makes it so interesting.
  • @rthqwaik
I would absolutely love to see more camera related stuff from you guys!
  • @dawson8843
Please keep the camera reviews coming. Love hearing what the team thinks about it all.
  • @cats-xi7bf
I would love more camera reviews or even showcases of everyone's favorite camera!

Coming right out of the gate, the criticism about the X2D not having video revealed, IMHO, that you don't understand how the camera is intended to be used. It would be like criticizing a Leica M11 for not having video, or for not having a built-in EVF. Or criticizing an old Porsche for not having an automatic transmission. The X2D isn't trying to compete with Sony, Nikon, Canon or Lumix mirrorless cameras that have still/video capability. It seems to me the appropriate way to review something is within the context of the intended use for the camera, which requires some interaction with the camera manufacturer/designer to understand the intent. No criticism however of your style, professionalism, and positive attitude. Best to you.
  • @koenmanusama
Love this! If possible more of this relaxed (camera) stuff
