@Pakil Sharma, Though I usually admire your balanced, factual, and informed newscasts, in this case, there is an blatant omission. Before the Houthis attack on Tel Aviv, they also launched over 200 missiles and drones to Israel, mainly targeting Eilat. This was a determining element in the Israeli response.

The fact is the US and Israeli land-based ballistic missiles (e.g. LGM-35) travel 15000 to 20000 km/h. The Iranian hand-made and slow-moving missiles travel 160/h. It took nearly 9 hours that the Iranian ballistic missiles and drones travelled from Iran to Israel, and all of them being intercepted by Israeli defense system. The Houthis or Iran is firing missiles or drone to Israel is just a waste of time and money.
