Finn is showing him how to behave correctly. It’s completely normal, he’s helping you to raise him. Also because Finn was here first (like before him) so he’s kind of like showing a superior attitude, but as long as he’s not agressive it’s okay and normal :)

Yes that is Finn protecting you! My horse I used to have (she sadly died) protected me the same way. There was a fight between these two horses of mine and I was young and didn’t know what to do, she stood in between me and them and nudged me along with her head to my parents and stayed with me so I would be distracted from the other horses I miss her so much. 💔

You should throw like a ball or toy into the pool and make it like a game of fetch. that way he will get used to the water through playing!

although he was behaving really well with the potty training in the beginning, as a new puppy he was more focused on exploring than doing his natural thing. yes, he is still exploring and getting to know his new home and owners, but he has became more comfortable in that environment. which is great besides the accidents in the house. he is understanding that your home is his home. the accidents will eventually wear off and potty training will be effective. i have dogs of my own and through all the them, this is one of the many thing they have in common. not all the dogs are the same but the likelihood of this being the reason of his accidents is a 99.999%. congratulations on your new puppy and thank you for giving a safe and loving home.
