Great shelf build! Whenever I build something it ends up being overbuilt and way too heavy. However, seeing you build the shelf this way helped to finally convince me to not overbuild my shelf like I usually do.

Building a big shelf. Partly recycled lumber, just brad nailed together. Quick, simple and cheap.

No movie, TV series, music videos etc... the best thing to watch in the entire universe is Matthias Wandel. WIsh he produced a video once a day...

I Love the fan pointing at the heater... :)

I would add a couple of diagonal struts for stability under big load.

Last night I was trying to make a table and ended up accidentally building one of these. I'm very happy with it though.

I like how you think, always inspired by your videos. Thanks Mathias!

You weren't kidding. That's huge! A great use for scrap lumber, and now you won't go wanting for storage.

Excellent guide and sturdy construction!

That looks like a very cool second shop. A few more shelves like that one and I'm sure you can store small cars as well. I would like to see a shop tour once you're done fixing this new one. Nice work.

There is a design problem. The horizontal braces that support the shelves either need to be screwed in place or supported in some other fashion. The shear strength of that glue joint and brads will fail, it is only a matter of time. Give yourself some peace of mind and either screw or through bolt those braces.

Another great video. Make them longer!!!! Never gets boring

I like how I can sit here sipping on coffee watching someone else work... and no one is trying to yell at me or make me feel guilty :) Well, guess I'd better get in the shop!

I like speedy Mathias, he gets things done in a gippy.

Very nicely build, good job. I like the end where you stand on top, that's quality you trust
