finally Unselected ambient works.
-
Seems that no matter what year Autechre makes music, it always sounds like it was made tomorrow.
-
Imagine actually hearing this back in the early 90s
-
the creativity in 90s dance music is actually so mad. there is great dance music coming out these days but most of the freshest stuff just amalgamates different styles developed in this era
-
If you're looking for that Incunabula ❄ vibe, this is your jam. Basically a huge b-side. To make the inevitable comparison, this is basically AE's "Selected Ambient Works 85-92".
-
The fact that the first 20 or so minutes was made in 1989 blows my fucking mind. It sounds like a famicom sound chip had life breathed into it.
-
uh this is sick. Autechre's later stuff is awesome because of how atmospheric and complex it is, but part of me wishes they were still making funky shit like this.
-
I drove infront a sunset with this mix at 32:44, one of my best moment of my life <3
-
I love that old school Warp sound.
-
In the 90s, anything with that kind of retro-futurist typeface on was basically guaranteed to be awesome.
-
-
what a relief coming home to this after another stressful week dealing with trivial nonsense :)
-
2021 and it still sounds like the future.
-
Keep coming back to this. Pure fire from beginning to end.
-
I'm addicted to the first track, such perfection in simplicity.
-
just brilliant, best of the best
-
26:59 The destroyer of worlds just destroyed me
-
Got into Autechre in 92 and have never heard this period of their work. Excellent
-
love it. some of it reminds me of the old days making tracks with just a Roland MC-202 and TR-606. I miss those machines
