I am an immigrant. I wasn't born in North America, I was born in the UK. I have white North Americans rant and rave about immigrants to me (with no sense of irony), I let them finish, ask if they mean me and they immediately say no. I assume because I am white!

Why did the Tory government allow the policies that led to people having to choose between eating and heating in the first place? There's no reason for it, other than taking advantage of taxpayers and kowtowing to extremely wealthy multinational corporations that own the electricity, the water and the food supply..

JOB has been doing this for a while. Why do people call in unprepared to defend their opinions?

James, I have been keeping the kids in, keeping the blinds mostly shut and my doors and constantly locked and windows closed since this has all started. My family WhatsApp group have been sharing messages to be careful and what areas these rioters are in. Seriously feels like the movie purge!

The migrant crises have root causes. The most impactful being Britain and NATO’s meddling in other countries. War on Libya, for example, opened the flood gates from Africa. The intervention, of course, had nothing to do humanitarian considerations and everything to do with capturing natural resources as occurred in Iraq and Syria. But people have short memories.

Being the person I am, was proud, thought fortunate to be born here so much so I enlisted and defended the country for most of adult life, proud to continue the Military Heritage handed to me from Great Gand father, Grand Father, Father and Mother, to see this now, in this country and from the same people that always asked ME "Couldn't you get a real job?" "What is there something wrong with you?", that would lecture me on how to do my job, then spit on me for the same reasons. I am sorry I have no F*cking words............

James, as a non-white Brit who now lives abroad, I started watching your network. i just want to say, you're a hero. You are respectful, eloquent, non-judgmental and more importantly empathic who deals in facts. I just wanted to say thank you. If there are more public figures like you, particularly politicians, England will be a better place.

Call them the putin riots since farage et al get their information from him

Well said James! Keep being the voice of rationality. Although LBC have given air time to Farage, which I feel ambivalent about, I think though if he is on LBC he will be able to expose his extremely long standing self serving pernicious lies and divisive rhetoric and he can be brought to account in front of so many listeners to the channel. I suggest all of these rioters read, "How They Broke Britain".......
