The man DESERVES everything he owns... He didn't steal anything, he earned everything with his devotion, hard work and talent...
  • Well, we can't blame MJ for spending his money. He earned it ! I'm not quite sure the Chicago mega mansion ever went down to 4,700,000$. It was certainly off the market for a while but it is back now and at a selling price of 14,855,000$. What I didn't know is that he donated so much for charity. You can criticize MJ but deep down, the man has a good heart !!!
  • His donating more money than he earned in the nba just earned him my complete respect!
  • EVERY FAMILY HAS A PERSON WHO BREAKS THE CHAIN OF POVERTY. I PRAY YOU BECOME THAT PERSON. Amen 🙏

Bless Michael Jordan for all the charity works he has done.

6X NBA Champion, 6X NBA Finals MVP's, successful branch/line owner of the largest shoe franchise on the planet (which they only became because of him), Owner of a professional NBA team as well as successful owner of at least 3 other businesses, has given more money to charity and built charities than he made playing in the NBA ($90M+. Monetarily, there are many people who are ahead of him but really at the game of life, MJ just mastered it. He's mastered self and the experience of being human.
  • putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it

I'm from England and know next to nothing about basketball but I love sport and watched the last dance documentary and have nothing but respect for this man. His commitment and dedication to the sport and his attitude as well as making every player he played with better simply by demanding everything they had inside themselves means he absolutely and literally earned everything he has.

Big respect to the man for his community HE NEVER FORGOT WHERE HE CAME FROM
  • @karabinas
His donations gave me chills. Amazing man
  • I tell you what, Jordan may spend a lot but he earned it. You have a guy like him from your city and he's gonna do great things! I come from a hockey city where literally current starting NHL players are from, and it's been cool to see them give back, not like Jordan level but still, donating tens of thousands of dollars to help people fight hunger, thats 1 of the things that always motivated me to be successful, being able to look after my people.
  • Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance wealth, a great career. Purpose is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life.

Someone from Toronto be like: "Really? 4.7million?! The Jordan mansion is 7 times larger than the house in Lawrence Park, and cost less. I am moving to Chicago"

I don't think I've ever heard of any retired Sports person ever putting money back into the community like that by building low-income health centers for low-income families that is a big man thank you mr. Michael Jordan. That being said you could have taken it easy on my pistons in the 90s my man

I don't begrudge him anything! It's his money, he can do what he wants. He remains the greatest athlete I have ever seen and he has done quite a few admirable things with his largesse (Helping his home-state TarHeels foremost among them). Great job, Michael! You are a true American icon.
  • This man is living his best life he earned it by being the NBA you can't mention the sport without mentioning him!!
