    theres nothing wrong w being mediocre , try to replace comparison with awe ;p less "why cant i do that" and more like "thats so cool they can do that!" its easy to want to be the best in this modern day when a lot is competition , but ig it depends where ur priorities are ... money/success/happiness/making a difference but sometimes they come hand in hand ! i think looking at a lifelong goal like "i want to be happy" is harder to envision instead of trying to be happy every day yk
