Today Lebron James' legacy is solidified as either the best or the second best basketball player of all time, but this wasn't always the case. Coming off their loss to the Mavs in the 2011 finals the Heat were down 3-2 to the Celtics in the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals. If the they would have failed to win a championship again the big three most likely gets broken up. With all the pressure in the world on him Lebron responded with one of the best playoff performances of all time against Boston in game 6.

LeBron in 2012 was the definition of a man on a mission
  • It’s honestly crazy to me people forget how younger Lebron was a beast on defense!
  • miami lebron is honestly what got me into watching basketball. i was 10 years old watching lebron win his first ring and i was like yea thats for sure my favorite player
  • Garnett: We Broke Lebron. Lebron: Wins 4 out of the next 8 championships. Competing in each final along the way.

In the words of kg he can’t beat all 5 of us
  • Kobe in the 04 finals is definitely up there with Lebron 2011. He was actively playing against his own team and was horrible.

    That was a SPOT-ON Stephen A. impression🤣🤣🤣

The best Lebron game ever. 10 years after this Jimmy Butler pulls a similar performance in game 6 vs the same Celtics team.

Really wish I watched that game live The highlights don’t really captivate how great of a performance this was

That look is iconic. Thats what separates the good from the greats. The ability to rise to the occasion and handle the pressure/moment

Arguably the best version of Lebron to ever exist. He finally came into the game with the "Killer" mentality so many people said he lacked that so many people said he lacked. It was on that day that we learned there are few things scarier in Basketball then a pissed off Lebron James.
  • I will never forget this game. At my parents house, home from college in my little ass room, sitting on the floor in front of a 24” box tv. D Rose was my guy, LeBron was the enemy that stood in our way. I sat there dumbstruck at what he was doing, I just kept thinking “surely he’s missing this one”, nope. It was the game that made a LeBron Stan outta me, never looked back.

game 6 lebron was like, " i will rip the skull off your head and dunk with it as i turn around catching your skull and killing another one of your teamates with your own skull "

LeBron is the most disrespected player of all time by fans of basketball. —most analysts and commentators give him his props and most players and coaches as well. But many basketball fans hate on him so hard because he most likely destroyed them every time he met in his prime. There’s only a select few teams that have ever given him real trouble. And the list isn’t very long. I mean I bet most Toronto fans hate him alongside most eastern conference teams. Hating him a lot in his prime is much less shameless than doing it when he’s 38. You hating on someone when it’s clear they aren’t who they used to be in their prime is so lame. It’s one of the lamest things I’ve ever seen considering they probably destroyed your team for the last decade for you to hate them this badly in their twilight years.
