Talking about my present (2/3)

Face reveals are one of YouTube's most iconic video formats, here's why I don't like em!

I like to imagine you as the white jellyfish on your profile pic doing the high quality and energetic editing in front of the computer.

they think the person they've been watching is the prettiest human alive but when he does a face reveal and turns out to be average looking they stop watching even though nothing changed his personality is still the same he's still the same person

I personally loved the way Technoblade revealed his face ( Rest In Peace Techno). He wasn't a facecam streamer, but when he showed it, he didn't make a huge deal out of it. He even mocked the whole concept, by doing the whole ellbow reveal thing. It fitted perfectly with the way he usually acts.
  • bro, Imagine having a fanbase constantly asking for a face reveal, and when you finally do it they call you ugly

dude that mask is so cool. perfect for a "body reveal" while keeping ur face still hidden.

I feel like the "fans" pressuring the YouTuber into Face-Revealing aren't real "fans". I've seen a lot of comments saying PEOPLE WHO WANT A FACE REVEAL👇. I think that's mad disrespect to the creator, who might not want to show their face publicly, like T3rr0r

When you reveal your identity to the internet, you're essentially killing off the "mysterious persona" factor that some fans have for you. Once you take off that mask and show yourself to the world, these people will most likely turn on you because you don't fit the type of person that they imagined you as.
  • Did you buy that LED mask just for this video? Honestly, I respect it if you did. That's a lot of dedication to the bit.
  • One of the problems with dreams face reveal is the angle his head was at. He should’ve just looked at the camera normally

Honestly, if Wendigoon had a lot video editing, then the charm of his content wouldn't be the same. It would fall into a genre of heavily edited, low attention span horror covering content. It would also be hard and time consuming for him to add such effects on pretty much all of his videos, due to them being detailed explanations that are long by nature. I find the simplicity in his videos enjoyable as it points my focus on what he is actually covering.

My face reveal is probably the most awkward thing ever uploaded onto youtube lmao
  • @Gmeare
every 2 seconds I'm just spotting someone I recognise and going "OOH OHH I KNOW THAT ONE!!!"
  • @KeWinn
That intro felt like an acid trip. I loved every second of it.
  • Thank you T3rr0r, setting boundaries and being real to yourself is very cool and respectable, I really do like the videos you make because of how genuine you are to your own style and process and it's what keeps me coming back patiently waiting for more, keep being cool funny man on the internet
