SOUND QUALITY NOTE:
There may be an issue with the song audio in this video. We are trying to fix it but we wanted to leave this video "as is" because it has our real/natural reaction.

Here's our next Elvis reaction. This time Russ is joined by his son Zakk as they watch & reaction to Elvis Presley performing Bridge Over Troubled Water in 1972.

As always, the King hits it out of the park. No one comes close to his amazing voice. Long Live the King❤❤❤

During Elvis life there was no auto tune and this is live. He will never be replaced. thank you

It’s all part of his charm… that he looks for validation from his band mates. One of the cutest ones is when he’s singing Always on My Mind, and after he hits a low note, he looks over at JD and JD smiles. Love my Elvis

Elvis and Ronnie pair well together. Ronnie is an awesome drummer. ❤

What many people dont know is that Elvis produced much of his music himself. And in the movie That's the way it is, you can see him direct his backup singers to this song. The miracle of Elvis is that with all his succes he could have done even better if he dident have the cornel Tom Parker around him. Tom prevented Elvis from working together with the best song writers, go on a world tour, getting rest. Immagine if Elvis had lived healthy for another 25 years and also learned to write songs (it is not as hard as people think) .

Got a feeling that you are gonna hear about 1970 version!!!😂❤❤❤
  • In my opinion between this and what now my love from aloha 1973 are elvis at his very best on stage.Regards from Manchester uk.👍

Although this 1972 performance has some great moments, I find it hard to compare to the 1970 performance. He seems much more emotionally involved, and focused. I guess there is a better production quality. Those close ups of his face..and the dramatic long shots❤️ Thank you for sharing!
  • This is becoming my favorite over 1970. Elvis and the band were just so on fire 🔥 in 1972. I usually don't do this because I think commenting and/or making a request is a waste of time, but I will. You seem to have seen most of Elvis's performances so I tried to pick two that may be new to you. Polk Salad Annie ~ Vegas ~ 1970 This is not the same version everyone reacts to. Nearly seven minutes long it is a very dirty version. https://youtu.be/dOmfOkbL6AQ?si=b-tHOeT6yjeklUYl Rags to Riches ~ Pittsburgh ~ 1976 Amateur video, but the audio is perfect. https://youtu.be/0SemIarWczA?si=DuL2uBKGjP3lPIDK Thank you for sharing and God bless. Happy Easter! 🐣

This Greensboro, NC concert was fantastic! I'd like to suggest 2 from this concert if you would consider (1) "Burning Love" as he holds the lyric sheet w-him on stage & tells the audience of thousands that it's a new song & he may goof it up https://youtu.be/LGQytB3wQMs&t=55s. I don't believe any other singer on the planet would do such a thing but he is just so comfortable & natural. The ending was fabulous as he kept it going on & on & said he didn't think they'd ever end, but of course that was all him "conducting" it & it was magic. (2) "Release Me" https://youtu.be/OJY5Lah-aEg -- & if you listen closely I believe you can hear the audience sing along w-him for a bit right after he says "chug-a-lug baby" -- it just sounds really extra special. He looked like he was enjoying himself throughout. Love Greensboro, thank you.

Oh guys, you need to hear the 1970 version. It’s so much better. Seriously. It. Is. Epic.
  • @mikem957
Actually he was interacting with The Sweet Inspirations. Estelle Brown said that he always did that.
  • @rong805
You can't go wrong with either version. 70 started a little softer and smoother, but this was an arena so he had to adjust.
