As video games get more complex, so do playing them. Rocket League, League of Legends, Fortnite, Valorant are all games that are hard to master. Let's discuss why.

  • How does this only have 39 views what the hell this is an amazing video. Topic's probably been done before but you put it in a way that's... well, I play both Valorant AND Rocket League so I know exactly where you're coming from. I hope the algorithm blesses this video because it's extremely relevant in today's gaming environment. Grats on the new house. Kids don't need food anyway.
  • Woah, he looks like the lost sibling of Ryan Reynolds AND teaches us how to play Rocket League? Peak!

Hey there! I stumbled on your channel from the speedflip tutorial video, and this one perfectly summarizes my feelings (almost a bit too on the nose, lol). What you mentioned about non-transferable skills especially, and that obsessing over one game because you want to really be good at that one... hits close to home! You've got a couple new subscribes from me, look forward to more videos!
  • Got recommended here off the satisfactory video, some of these points are a great way to sum up why video games are so fun to the "uninitiated".

Same experience here on rocket league. Can't wait to see more videos from you. Loved also the air dribble video, someone explained exact tutorial I was looking for. Keep it up, you are the first channel that I have turned on notification for.

watching this late but i loved this video and im really surprised it doesn’t have more attention. i also obsess over things like you do and have thought about the same things you explain so well in this video. especially what you said about the economy of youtube tutorials, i get so wrapped up in it in every single game i play watching guides and tutorials to learn everything i can because otherwise i feel like im missing out on my potential in the game. Love that you took those thoughts and turned it into making your own video tutorials on rocket league that are by far the best ive seen on this platform. really nice and helpful. im so close to being good with air roll, i can just about control my car with the down and to the left stick direction only. i dont get how others learned it without those tips, i dont think i would have been able to.
  • This reminds of clash royale :,) until they ruined it. I knew I was never gonna be a pro when I started at it 7 years ago, but damn did the possibility of really being one keep me going at it Now that they’re raising levels (again) (again again),,, it doesn’t make me feel like I CAN be pro without paying It’s sad to see. Ig I just wanted to vent a bit bc it really was my favorite game. Rn I’m in RL and have been for a year These games with no defined skill ceiling that anyone can get to are what keep me playing Entering a new phase in life, i hope games can keep being something I can always return to to find some joy in seeing digital progress
  • 730 views? Come on YouTube algorithm this video is amazing and so interesting with an awesome editing. Btw i loved your video and love your work, hope you get this channel really big. New sub from Argentina
  • Could you do more videos like this one and the satisfactory one. I really like how you break these things down. And i think you are great at explaining the nuances we all feel but can't put into words. I subscribed for those 2 videos and hope to see more. Your almost gamer documentary styled videos are amazing. And with the passion of your own gaming experience added through it. I think you rival or even beat the larger channels. Great job, and keep it up. It's unique, and that's a strong thing to grow.
  • yo, really liked the vid, and i completly agree, used to beat a game and go to the next one, but nowadays i have 200 games on steam and i play like two of em at the most, i guess it is what it is
  • @wesleybacon
Absolutely class. Can't wait to see more from you :)
  • @Techfall
Great content! I've got 8 of them kids to feed makes it hard to have 4k hours in RL
  • Hours are real life experience points in the gaming field. Except there’s actually a couple potential penalties for grinding them too often.
  • @v1kt0u5
Why did you chose League of Legends as the MOBA example? Then what about Dota 2? Also somewhat transferable skills between those two, but the Skill Ceiling for Dota is actually much higher. Cheers!
  • @v1kt0us
Great video. Your couch and you shouldn't take so much screen space, though.
