Thank you very much for this video. I have the R8 since about a month, and I am very happy with it. I'm not new to photography, but the R8 has so many more options and features than my 7D and M50-II, so I learned a lot today. And it is much more fun to go through all the settings with you than with the book. 😃 Greetings from Switzerland

Started watching this the other day after it was posted,, went through it again just to try and recall the info.. Thank you very much for putting this video out.. I bought the R8 and am starting at level 1 as my first/last camera was the Rebel xt. I'm loving this thing, and love it even more after this video and getting the run down of what the things actually do!

Super helpful, thanks for putting the time into making this video! Reading the manual is one thing but hearing the pros/cons of a setting from a pro is more helpful to me. Now I finally have the AF settings configured perfectly for what I need.

Thanks, Jared! I don’t own an R8. I probably won’t ever buy an R8 because I own a Sony a7R-V and don’t really have any need for an R8. But nevertheless, I watched this entire video and found it quite entertaining. As a professional, I want to constantly stay up to date about the features of each camera brand as well as where to find specific settings so I can help other people using other camera systems.
