My cousin was once called by someone claiming to be from Apple saying that there was something wrong with his Apple device. He kept this scammer on the line for at least half an hour before he said "Oh, I know the problem: I don't HAVE an Apple device!"

They had my neighbor, an old lady in her 80โs call a cab company to take her to the bank to take out $80,000 in cash, mail half to them. The next day when she was supposed to send out the next $40k, an attentive UPS employee suspected it and called the police. Even when the police explained everything to her, she still wanted to send the money because she was so scared of what was going to happen to her. Itโs so sad to see these people lose everything.
