Xurketree: Oh you're a dimensional pokemon all right, but not an extra dimensional one Clefairy: What's the difference? Xurketree: PRESENTATION
  • @QuantumPhanatic
I always wish Game Freak will do more with ultra beasts, there could be so many interesting takes on aliens and invasive species from other countries I would love to see and learn about
  • @ColeTheOldKing
I love that Poipole is a starter in the other dimension
  • @Karmo09
I really love that there is someone who understands the risks Pokemon take instead of just saying "they are out of ideas".
  • @glitchking2801
Honestly the idea of there being some special stema based on pseudo sciences seems like a neat idea to me
  • Celesteela also being a reference to the princess kaguya myth really makes it stand out amongst the ultra beasts in my opinion
  • @RylixBlizzai
one of my favourite parts of being an ultra beast fan is that they're probably the least divided part of the fandom in my own experience i mean most other pokemon groups have a good few people in them that would happily chew on your hand for having a different favourite member than them meanwhile for the ultra beasts i've yet to encounter a single person like that. can put a stakataka fan in a room with a buzzswole lover and a guzzlord enjoyer, and it's just hi-fives into handshakes all around
  • @EnigmaticGentleman
Not really related to the topic but you're like the only Youtuber ive seen who actually brings up the times Pokemon took risks and it didn't go well for them. Like you can rag on Gamefreak all you want but it bugs the heck out of me when people are like "pokemon is so lazy for not changing it up".
  • @Joss_star.
As an absolute fan of generation 7, the ultrabeasts are some of my favorite pokemon groups so far. I really hope Game Freak doesn't leave them behind because there are many ways to continue the idea of aliens and invasive species. (There are no ice, ground, water, psychic nor fairy type ultrabeasts)
  • @chunk1179
gen 7 is so unbelievably under appreciated… like it has such high quality pokémon world building and pokémon
  • Making a Post-Game in an astronomy area where you get the astrology group would be awesome. Also works as potential update/DLC

Nihilego is a parasyte, like a Metroid, Pheromosa comes from a highly advanced society, Buzzwole absorbs creatures energy, Xurkitree is related to power outages (common to ufo activity), Celesteela is a rocket, Kartana is the tiny yet deadly alien life form, Guzzlord is an ELDRICH HORROR and a planet eater. Stakataka is a hivemind organism, Blacephalon is Pennywise from the novel IT (another cosmic horror), and the Poipole line represents the two sides of aliens in pop culture. The friendly pet chibi alien, and a XENOMORPH.
  • @Glory2Snowstar
The best set of Pokemon to ever grace the franchise. Alien, full of character, diverse in Typing and shape, and INCREDIBLY unique. Nihilego is my third-favorite Pokemon ever now due to their IRL basis , creepy elegance, and plot significance. They're all my misunderstood Eldritch friends and I love them.
  • @connorconnor1631
something about the ultra beasts' cries not mentioned in the video: all ultra beasts emit a common ethereal sound at the end of their cries; interestingly, this also applies to the cosmog line and all forms of necrozma
  • @sinisternorimaki
Honestly, having the twelve zodiac stema be secret minibosses to reward exploration could be pretty cool, kinda like the legendary birds in the first Pokémon games.
  • @Murr248
I kinda hate that they didn't give Blacephalon a homeworld... Its easily my favorite of the Ultra Beasts because out of all of them its easily the most bizarre. With the rest, all of them still, to a degree, somewhat fit in with the rest of the Pokemon designs. Blacephalon doesn't. Everything about it looks off… the anatomy is much more unusual (The head and eyes especially look off in a good way) And it's the only one with an uncanny method of attack, being that it throws in own head so it can explode upon contact. Neither it nor Stakataka have homeworlds which is unfortunate to say the least. given the circus elements its very interesting to theorize what Blacephalon's home could look like.
  • @BrilliantBro
The ultra beasts are my most favourite Pokemon
  • @Techy404
no way i actually suggested in one video the idea of making stema creatures based on scientific mysteries and stuff like that, i don't think N0rtist actually saw it however, but its cool to see my idea made in somewhat
  • @Squibby-hn8rz
the ultra beasts are such a cool part of pokemon, like they all have absolute banger designs
