Regular Show was one of the very few Cartoon Network shows from the 2010s to get a television movie, and not many people talk about it. So naturally, we will! A time travel story that shows us the downfall of Mordecai and Rigby's friendship, with a lot of dark, awesome moments that showcase Regular Show at its best!

I think they've lost the oportunity to name it "Regular Movie"
  • I’ll admit, the Regular Show movie was kind of a masterpiece in its own right

I really do believe Regular show was the best show Cartoon Network ever aired, the premise of it alone was enough to keep me waiting for a new episode every week, and then the fact that they were able to do nonlinear and chronological episodes, holiday episodes, season finales, special movies and episodes and make them even better then the last and to finish it off they managed to end it in insane way with the whole pops thing in season 7 and 8 just had me speechless and happy with the good ending yet tearing up since it was the end. Regular Show will forever be the best in my eyes

Rigby saying “fly me into the sun so I don’t have to be so sad anymore” always gives me chills.
  • "Don't break into a movie theater to watch this movie" Too late I'm already there.

So we're we just gonna gloss over the fact that Rigby attempted suicide in this movie? Twice???

When I have seen “Regular Show movie” I’ve always thought that was the Endgame style special.
  • Regular show, man that last scene where the whole main characters get together to take a picture, and pops saying Good show while taking the VHS tape froma TV in the heavens really got me crying. Cuz the fact where there was no more add-ons to the series.

I can't believe the movie aired 5 years ago. It feels like yesterday.
  • @Dawker
Rigby reading his letter was so sad, so heartbreaking, the reaction of everyone even past Rigby and Mordecai... God it was a masterpiece

It's been known since basically the beginning of Regular Show that Quintel initially pictured the show to PG-13 and had to tone it back to make it appropriate for CN, but the movie really put on display the true talent of the writers who managed to focus on more mature, dark topics that were understood and appreciated by young adults but still went over the heads of the younger, technically target audience of CN.
