Across the six-event gauntlet, the sport’s most promising talents battle against former CT competitors to become one of the 10 men and five women who qualify for the Championship Tour and earn their place among the world’s best surfers.

This is competitive surfing… one of the best contest I have watched in the last 3 years. This contest proved how entertaining surfing can be when there is a large pool of surfers surfing in good conditions. On both the men’s and women’s side the cream of the crop rose and won. The CS seems to have way more spirit and emotional intent than the CT these days. Everything about this contest was better than any CT comp I have watched this year. Weather it be watching the competitors or watching insane heritage heats go down with all the goats of our sport. This contest should be a testament of what surf entertainment should strive for. :)

This comp was absolutely lit. Most entertaining WSL event this year by a mile and it’s not even a CT 😂
