I met up with with a long time friend Takashi-san, a key person in Tokyo's underground car culture, for this video. The idea was to check out how his ER34 Skyline has evolved ever since I shot the car back in 2015 when he completed the first phase of the transformation.

This project was originally supposed to be a missile, a practice drift car, however things got a little out of hand for Takashi and he ended up creating one of the cleanest GT-ts out there. We met in Odaiba, drove into central Tokyo to park up on Nihonbashi bridge and then headed to Umihoraru PA for a chilled Friday night meet.

In case you are interested here is the original story I did on Takashi's ER34 on Speedhunters:

This is probably my favourite JDM channel atm. No annoying hype and fanboying. Simply a chill mood with excellent footage from a guy who knows what he's talking about.

The only thing I like more than the car cultures you bring us Dino, is your presentation. Thanks for this channel Dino. Seriously entertaining, oddly relaxing, and epic cars.

I think this is the best episode on the channel yet! Great Tokyo nights vibes, cool spots, nice mix of in car, rollers, and letting us hear that glorious sound!

Wow, Tokyo at night just looks like a different world. I've never been, but I'd imagine you could drive around the city for a few months, and still only see a small fraction of its highlights and stunning sights.

Beautiful build and great story behind it as well. The mirror mount gauges are something I haven't seen before. Thank you Dino and Takashi!

That 190E blew my mind - would love to see an episode on rare Tommykairas! I also saw a very rare Tommykaira Subaru Legacy wagon in Chiba earlier this year - super curious about the stories behind those cars.

The way you filmed this was very nice compared to others I've seen. The whole atmosphere and scenery was on point. And Skyline💯

Thanks Dino! Your channel is proper JDM car content. This video gave me so many feels about my trips to Tokyo. Plus, I even got to take some photos of that car a few years ago at one of the RWB meets my friend invited me to.

Thank you Dino for always releasing videos with top-notch quality. Dropping some cool facts throughout. It reminds me of Noriyaro's channel but if he had a professional videographer.
