Do you want to improve your pronunciation? I have launched my British English (Modern RP) pronunciation course! I’ll train you to read phonetic transcriptions, and produce each sound that comprises modern received pronunciation. I’ll also teach you how to implement the correct use of intonation, stress, rhythm, connected speech, and much more. We’ll compare similar sounds, and look at tricky topics like the glottal stop and the dark L.
Technically, I need to mark this as an AD even though it is my own company so - AD :)

  • my advice to all english learners is to keep a laid-back attitude toward learning...if you force to much onto yourself it gets tense and learning stagger and it is more likely to give it up . be generous with your time while practising new lexis and ask for second opinion from people you find sincere and reliable. thank you Lucy for your terrific lessons and warm tone!

Describe myself in 5 very useful adjectives taught by Lucy: I am a very determined person when it comes to learn something new. My friends describe me as trustworthy and confident but sometimes i think i could improve my life by being more direct towards to people and a lot less tolerant than what i am.
  • I randomly discovered your channel and since I've been learning so many things in English and I REALLY would like to thank you. Stay blessed. If I get the band score I need in my IELTS test, make sure it will be dedicated to you !

The content in this video is absolutely useful and well put together. Thanks so much, Lucy. Even though it's one year old, but still, it's great and practical stuff👍 I need this kind of vocabularies for my database. I am sure it does the same for many English learners, too. I need to watch it a couple more times and make notes to absorb it properly. Highly recommend this😊

It's s pleasure to listen to you, Lucy! You speaking is music for my ears ))) My English is pure, but it's getting better and better with your video lessons. I always pronounce every word with you and every time I feel more self-confident. Probably I'm becoming a little British )))
  • Today's homework Myself I am a shy girl but I always try to be confident cuz I know the importance of confidence. I am kind to the people who are kind to me. I am determined to learn English. I am bright but sometimes I make foolish decisions. In reality , I am humble but I have to pretend to be an arrogant girl because people take advantage of my humbleness. If there is any mistake then do let me know. Thanks
  • @KabirKhan-wp6qy
Hi Lucy, The way you clarified both the approving and disapproving aspects of the words usable in describing personalities and characters are simply awesome. It's hard to get such precisely made notes from renowned dictionaries. You're a great. Hoping to have more of this kind.
  • I'm warm and kind person, I like talking with people but I’m introverted and humble, however I can be arrogant sometimes... I'm still learning.. Thanks
