Despicable Me: The Game is a 2010 action platformer based on the movie of the same name however his adopted girls are missing from the game's plot though he does make a joke reference about adopting kids instead of crime. In the game, Guru is plotting to build a rocket ship and steal the moon but due to the bank not funding his mission, he steals the parts to build his rocket ship before his new rival Vector can steal his plans to take the moon first. Gru uses the minions and his arsenal of weapons to solve puzzles to bypass the various secure areas to steal the parts. Note: I had to mute the Despicable Me theme song in the opening and credits due to the copyright.

  • I know this isn’t the PS2 version but it’s weird to me that they still were making PS2 games in 2010
  • @CH-ow8hy
Gru looks horrifying on the thumbnail!
  • @Shrekperson
I’m questioning why Gru doesn’t have a scarf in this game
  • that Woody Woodpecker reference at the ending cutscene caught me off guard, last thing i could EVER expect to being showed up in a Despicable Me content
  • @JJ-oq3tz
I love the Despicable Me game. Despicable Me is one of the famous Universal related movies of all times since 2010 to 2022
  • My favorite thing about this game, is that for some reason, I have no idea how or why, but in the platforming parts, you have infinite lives. That and the 4th wall breaking lines that are said in each puzzle level you do about the design.

I can definitely see why people find the platforming boring, but I think this is the game that got me into obstacle - based platforming and I still have fun with it today.
  • Cast: Steve Carell as Gru JB Blanc as Dr. Nefario (Replacing Russell Brand) Jason Harris Katz as Vector (Replacing Jason Segel) James Arnold Taylor as All Minions (including Dave) (Replacing Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud; who specifically voiced Dave) Rob Huebel as Anchorman
  • 6:59 Yeah! It’s fun to play with physical, mental, imaginative stuff and more sometimes. Though it’s a caution to play with reality in some cases.
  • They should've done a Despicable Me video game that contained the subplot of Gru adopting the girls
