Viktor Krum is a significant character in the Harry Potter series. In the films, his last appearance was at the end of Harry's fourth year, and he was not mentioned again. However, in the books, Viktor attended Bill and Fleur's wedding, confronted Xenophilius Lovegood for wearing the Deathly Hallows necklace, and even helped the Order protect the attendees of the wedding. Additionally, after the series ended, Viktor Krum's story of coming out of retirement, catching the Snitch, and winning the Quidditch World Cup with Bulgaria is fabulous.
