This actually shows how people should treat police officers and how police should treat people. Respect to both
-
At least his family will see that he was treated humanely and everyone was genuinely trying to help him. RIP
-
I’ve been thru alcohol withdrawals as a recovering alcoholic. People don’t take it seriously because they think you deserve it and did it to yourself. I can’t remember how many times I thought I was going to die. Here now and sober only by sheer luck.
-
25 year straight wiskey drinker ,7 days a week , ,shakes an withdrawal the worst, never thought i could do it ,but cold turkey it an 3 years sober coming in march,Keep fighting those who struggling ,dont give up.
-
The police treated him with respect and took appropriate measures to help him. RIP
-
This man did everything right. When the police went to arrest him; he got out of the car and followed every rule. No screaming and fighting. He was polite to the end. The police were also respectful. This is how all exchanges, should be done. Prayer for his family.

As a healthcare provider, EMS did a horrendous job here. Someone who is visibly ill and unsteady on his feet should have never been walked out. They were callous and cold. It was unprofessional & unnecessary. For the sake of this being the last hours of his life I hope that the video was edited and that he encountered some kindness at the hospital.

The so called ems was horrible… The officers were more concerned

I have a friend that works at a detox center, and she told me hands down, alcohol is the most dangerous drug to be detoxing from. She said some people temporarily lose the ability to walk and have to be pushed around in a wheelchair it gets so bad, and some people actually die while detoxing. Incredibly scary and just so sad..

I’m so glad nobody was mean or nasty to this man and that they did get him the help he needed. RIP Mr Franklin. I’m a recovering addict at only 25 years old. Got clean on my own going 3 years strong. It’s a tough fight to fight.
-
They made him walk to the ambulance..? Knowing he was vomiting blood. "Are you ready man" How Sad!
-
I am typing these with tears , he has died alone . Away from his mom and his closed one . I can’t imagine his last moments . My prayers are with his families 😭
-
Rest in peace Xzavier, I went to school with him. My condolences to his family. Please remember he has a family and friends that loves him. It costs absolutely nothing to be respectful of his family who may come across this❤
-
It was hard watching him try to stand up and leave the room. It’s disturbing knowing you’re watching someone’s final moments but I’m glad they tended to him and treated him with respect. RIP to Xzavier and I’m sorry he passed while trying to get better, recovering from any addiction is never easy.
-
EMS looks so lazy and unconcerned
-
I hate when they ask what would u like us to do obviously he’s vomiting blood smh
-
They weren't mistreating him and seemed very helpful. An autopsy will give the family closure. They did everything they should have and could have.
-
As a recovering addict myself, I feel for this man! Withdrawals are fckn brutal and are often fatal! Especially from alcohol! I wouldn't wish that on ANYONE! I'll have 4 years, clean and sober, August 28th. Prayers for his welcoming and his family! 🙏🏼 Everyone in this video treated one another with the utmost respect, and I love that for them. RIP, good sir! 🕊

Those EMS should be catching charges honestly. That was horrendous bias care. They said “what do you want me to do?”
