こりゃ凄い。 あんなに止まる寸前まで浮いて走ると思って無かったから、衝撃的に凄いと思った。 船体が「リーンして曲がる」のにも驚いたｗ客船版ジェットスキーって所か。

It is amazing how smooth the ride is on a hydrofoil... I have gone from Hong Kong to Macau many times by hydrofoil ... Once it is up and out of the water it is as smooth as glass!

Very good transport, I rode one in my childhood in the USSR. In the 80s, hydrofoils were the main passenger transport in the Soviet Union. They were made at a factory on the Caspian Sea.

We built these boats at Boeing back in the day ...they were just so fuel inefficient with 747 CFM jet engines ...but we did make some for the military with big cannons also...fun ride on lake Washington cutting logs in half testing the foils

I'm actually surprised people haven't seen or been on one, we had these type of boat running from Hong Kong to Macau in 30 mins like 10 years ago already.

They used to have these hydrofoils in Mission Bay, San Diego back in the 60s and 70s. It was great fun riding them. I don't know why they stopped running them. They need to come back.
