"You see dimitri when you have flying tank, enemy doesn't know whether to use anti tank or anti air"
-
With how weird and over the top Russian history is in general, especially during the 20th century, I’m surprised that they haven’t gotten a HBO show yet.
-
The Tsar tank will forever be the most bizarre Russian weapon/vehicle ever to me.
-
Imagine how silent it would be if someone made a different version of the Welrod that can use the SP4 ammo
-
I know the APS best from Call Of Duty: Ghosts where it was used in missions that involved underwater environments, and Black Lagoon where Revy uses it while looting a painting from a sunken German submarine.
-
Wow, was just looking at a Russian soldier with a mosin nagant in Ukraine, then immediately see this as a notification. Edit: didn’t know they weren’t regular soldiers wasn’t really paying attention lol
-
Yuri: You see Ivan, when you create a flying tank, enemies will be confused, whether they use anti-tank gun or anti-aircraft gun Hans: *Laughs in 8.8cm flak cannon*
-
The APS had a pistol counterpart, SPP-1 underwater pistol which had four barrels. It was a break open, breach loader that used a four round magazine. Not as impressive as the rifle, but I thought it worth some mention.
-
The Soviets had Crazy Technology like the pistol at the very first beggining shows that you won't need a silencer anymore
-
I'm honestly so disappointed that the tsar tank never saw combat lol. Though in all honesty it would have probably gotten disabled by German grenades If not completely disabled by one artillery strike. Edit: Y'all are mad dumb if you think grenades and anti-tank grenades cant damage armored fighting vehicles. Fr not every tank is a super heavy with armor 7 inches thick.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate the work Simple history is doing to educate and entertain us? Thank you very much.
-
Think about seeing the tsar tank coming at you on a battlefield in 1924.... it's size & "uniqueness" would probably strike fear for a moment or two.
-
Imagine how amazing the flying tank could of been as like a flying “rolling thunder” strategy. Imagine a fleet of bombers deploying those tank gliders before coming up on a base and bombarding the base.. Then by the time the enemies come out from the air raid shelters on the base the tanks that were deployed show up to sweep up.
-
The flying tank, if improved and modified, might honestly still be useful in today's warfare. You can't really drop them in with parachutes to my knowledge.
-
"Its a tank!" "Its a plane!" "No, you're both correct"
-
About tzar tank. Its early development started before first tanks were used in real combat. So nobody knew how to build them.
-
The Tu-2Sh Fiery Hedgehog is the Soviet version of the modern Metal Storm multi-barrelled aerial ground-pounder
-
Random solider: sir we got a enemy tank in the position Commander: ready the anti-tank round! Random solider: one problem....it's in the air.... Commander: what?!
-
"Hey Alexi, we need to flex on the Germans, show them our supply lines and factories are strong!" "Shoot all the bullets." "All of them?" "Da. All of them."
-
Now I have the urge to see if Ian at Forgotten Weapons has covered this pistol! The ammunition must be quite expensive.
