    I got to see Hobipalooza in person. He was not only the biggest act of the weekend, the festival said he was the highest ticket-selling artist in their 31 year history. The founder of the festival and the Mayor (the elected leader of the city) of Chicago both came out to introduce him and the reviews from the festival all said it could have been one of the best stages in the history of the festival. And as someone who attended, I don't doubt it. It was electric. j-hope is pretty well-known among ARMYs as being the strongest performer--it's ARMY canon that if you see BTS live, you leave with a j-hope bias. And he's on every short list for the whole k-industry for his performance skills too. He'd headlined Asia's biggest award show as a soloist too this same year. But the show he put on at Hobipalooza was just beyond greatness. Like I would put him up against anyone in the world with regard to performance. I think in all of Chapter 2 so far, it's the best performance bar none. And he went first. This was in July of 2022! His album had just dropped and he got up on stage and did that. For an hour and ten minutes. Iconic. I hope you get the chance to watch the full thing some day. Especially since you enjoy the rock stuff. The whole first half is a rockstar performance.

    I watched the behind the scenes for his lollapalooza concert and he was so worried. He lost so much weight because he didn't eat much being concerned with all the details for the show - he seemed to be involved in every decision. He relaxed a little when Jimin flew over to be with him for the last couple of days and seemed more able to chill. Love that support they give each other. Also he was the first of BTS to do a solo concert like this and was really worried that no one would come if it wasn't all of the group. He certainly didn't need to worry about that as Army turned up in the tens of thousands - I am not sure but read somewhere that it wasn't that long after the album came out in America so he was also really amazed that so many fans were able to sing along with the lyrics.

    Hobi uses a live band in his main stage record breaking solo debut concert at Chicago LOLLAPALOOZA 100,000 attended. the band were also brilliant. This concert is where J Hope met J Cole who agreed to a collab.

    Did you notice V @ one of the desks? He asked JHope if he could be in it. JHope of course was happy to have his brother do a cameo. Love this song. It was so unexpected from our Sunshine but so good. He was the opening performer not just the 1st Asian to be on the Lollapalooza stage.He's so great & his personality is perfect for interacting with his ARMY! TY for sharing this MV, I have loved it since it 1st posted. Lol, love your reactions to our young men, good job my guys. Keep the faith & stay strong 🙆🙆💜💜💜
