It was a simple idea to fulfill a wish and create light after a lot of dark... spread into contagious joy for a warehouse full of shoppers!

Produced by Lucinda Chrisman & Monica Vantoch
Edited by Lucinda Chrisman

Principle choreography by Francesca from Fusion Beats Dance (Australia) youtube.com/user/FusionBeatsBollywood

Song: London Thumakda by Sonu Kakkar, Neha Kakkar, & Labh Janjua

More info:
The idea to do this began to fulfill a wish of someone celebrating being one year out of leukemia, a parent and friend who loves all things Bollywood. Some drawn by that mission and others purely by the great energy of the song and dance, it grew among friends and beyond, all levels of dancers or non-dancers welcome. People shared with us more stories of how cancer impacted their lives and how this dance, with the intention behind it, brought them hope and comfort. We all were reminded of the wonder and magic of a true flash mob: that within the mundane and the hard, there still exists ecstatic joy and celebration everywhere, in everyone. Dance and music, from any part of the world, can unite us all in joy.

  • This is actually how life should be. child like, carefree, open heart and free mind. only our ego bind us. In reality we are free.
