Again, thank you! I had the replacement seat belt from salvage yard but didn't know if I could disconnect that SRS plug or not! Now I know. Your videos are great! Thorough and complete! Thank you!

BTW, your channel is awesome. After three years of awesomeness from my car, now it's one thing after another, your videos help immensely!!

Thank you so much, Robert. I just successfully replaced my driver's side belt on my 1998 V70R wagon, and your instructions gave me the confidence to do it!

Thanks for the really good advices. I wasn't even thinking about SRS or the air bags. Thank you sooo much. You just saved me a whole lot of trouble.
  • Code snt always in glove box. You may have to call your dealer for the code, or push in on the 2 tabs on the radio untill they eject, then pull towards you. The radip should slide ut easily. The radio code should be on back of radio. Also check drivers manual for radio code as well.

Thanks for this one Robert. Would almost certainly have broken some trim if not for this guide

Today is January 14th 2021, my car needs to pass EU regulations, and the shop wants about 450-500$ for doing this. The seatbelt still goes for about 300$, while the rest is labor. I'm following your video and doing this myself dangit! Thank you :D

Thanks mate, very good video. I'll be having a go at this exact procedure this weekend! Wish me luck!
  • @RobertDIY
Yes I actually have one. You have to pull the rear deck cover off/up. Then you slip the socket wrench up there and take that bolt out. As for the lower edge, you can pull the bolster off by pulling the top towards you and lifting it off. You can see the "back seat removal" video that I have up. If you need more info let me know.

850 is pretty close. There is a video for that one already. I'll have to go do a cable repair one when I get a little time.

Robert I LOVE your videos! You have saved me a whole lot of money. Especially when I couldn't afford to take my car in to be repaired. Endless thanks.Do you have a video that show how to replace the receiving end of the seat belt. My seat belt will no longer engage. I have to use the passengers side to lock me in. Again, Thank you!
  • @RobertDIY
Oh, thus the V70. Let me check tomorrow and get back with you. I'm pretty sure the seat back has a bolt in the side of the cover that comes off and you have to take the seat apart.
