If they lose hartenstein that’s Gon be a big loss because he gave them energy n more opportunities by getting rebounds
  • @rjchilds84
They keep Harkenstein & annunoby.. they competing fr
  • @iponchoi
Randle not being mentioned in these videos is crazy because omg is he a monster on this team!
  • @hdeodh
I think the Knicks gave up so many picks was to keep their core intact.. They added a core piece in Bridges without losing any major players which is rare
  • @DavidBagga
It’s Gonna be fascinating to see if bridges’ game streak continues with Thibs coaching style. The league is better when the Knicks are better so this is gonna be fun to watch 🍿

I think Bridges is a great fit because he plays both ways. He showed he can consistently score 20+ as well. With him added to Brunson, OG, and Randle that’s a strong core of scoring. Then you add in role players who star in their roles in Mitchell Robinson, Hart, and Donte and if they sign Hartenstein they definitely have a squad
  • Now all we need is to sign OG get and either keep all of our bigs or sign 2 of em and another gaurd
  • Your wrong Bob it's finals or bust in NY. We have an all time defense now it's time to hoist our trophy. We beat boston in 7 this year with JR and OG
  • The knicks were talking KD, Bron, PG,or Embiid………and ended up with Bridges lol

The reaction to this trade reminds me of the Jalen Brunson doubt 2 yrs ago...everybody (myself included) WERE WRONG!!!
  • @SaharaKnows
I’ll take bridges over Mitchel or KD or Paul. Durable and plays both ends. Don’t take games off

I like Bridges but i feel like he's been overvalued.. all those first round picks? He's always been a true professional so i hope he blossoms in NY.
  • Base on what they were able to accomplish, the addition of Mikal Bridges does give New York a chance to make noise, I don’t believe they will win the East or a championship but base on what they were able to accomplish with a number one guy in Brunson and now with a guy like Mikal Bridges who is also Thibs type of player, now they don’t need Josh Hart offensively like that, it is a bit of cause to pause with this team. They don’t have superstars that are seen as superstars but those players believe they are superstars and superstars in their roles.

The difference between mikal playing with the nets and Knicks is he will be playing with his boys the same ones that won a chip together in college and mikal won’t have the stress of being a number 1 he has Randel and Brunson and the rest of the Knicks to help together they will form like Voltron mikal can be the 3rd scoring option
  • Man, I like Bridges but that is crazy to give up FIVE first round picks for him. I mean that is a trade you make for a top 15 player in the league.
  • @teddywhite3129
this trade is good because of his contract alone is not that high, which gives us room to sign OG. if we don't sign him then it's not as enticing. But they will imo because if the contract of mb.
  • @user-lh4ff4uz6k
Nah they contenders, espn doesn’t know what they are talking about. Trust me everybody. Knicks are contenders and possible title champions
  • @bliqexplained
Y’all don’t understand how good bridges is he was on that team that went to the finals
  • @jonathane.736
Are they better offensively with Bridges and Robinson or Divincenzo and Hartenstein? I think the latter.
  • @moe.ron4life399
You have to be a bit more than a casual to understand why the value was there for the Knicks to trade those picks for Bridges. The way the CBA is today you can't have more than maybe 2 max contracts on your team, Bridges may not be an all-star as of today, but his contract is VERY team friendly. If you compare it to Paul George for example hes being paid 30+ more mil a year. These types of contracts are what is so valuable to a team like the Knicks who are in win now mode. Its much more than just that as well with team chemistry, elite defense, durability, age and what not. It is a situation where the value is hard to see but it is 100% there.
