Kevin O'Connell Talks About Drafting J.J. McCarthy & Dallas Turner In Round 1 of The 2024 NFL Draft

Man this draft has been fun as hell, we got our qb of the future and a dawg at edge rusher in the first round!!!! This gonna be fun to watch man SKOL!!!

As a Lions fan, I am both fearful and happy as hell for JJ. Best landing spot he could ask for, but I am fearful because I truly believe this dude is SPECIAL. He has both special talent and intangibles and has this clutch gene that you can only understand by watching him as often as Michigan fans did. He always made the play when we needed it most. People don’t fully understand how great he is going to be. I don’t look forward to facing him twice a year. He may need a year of grooming but in 2-3 years I have a feeling he is going to be contending for championships

As a Lions fan and Michigan fan, JJ is a stud. We know what he really is and it’s pretty special. You guys win round 1 no doubt

Three takeaways for the Vikings first round and offseason 1. We didn’t have to trade the house for a qb and drafted our guy at 10. 2. We drafted arguably the best defensive player in the draft at 17. Most people had him at 8 to the falcons. 3. Kwesi cooked this offseason. We now will have money to resign JJ and future signings for the foreseeable future. We also signed a few defensive players that will improve our defense and hopefully got the qb of the future. I’m really looking forward for this season. SKOL
