ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

A video on how to construct a driving range session and getting the most out of your practice

The mental aspect of the course. Swing thoughts and how to recover when you start losing confidence during your round.
  • This is brilliant. Very insightful and very usable guidance. So few vids are focused on how to read greens and actually supply practice tips. More of this would be great. 🙏🏾

Excellent video as always Danny. Even more on short game and putting is always welcome, especially combined with quantitative tests such as the Pelz short game tests.

Hey 👋 Danny, since you asked, I would like to see a series on hitting the ball from different types of lies: the typical ball Above/Below your feet lie, Sidehill lies, thick rough lies, ball sitting down in rough lies, ball in divot lie, and hard pan lies. Not many video instructors cover these and it would be great to see!! Keep up the good work, buddy!!

Danny, how about more about drills for us seniors on how to get more hip turn and finishing forward and up. Thanks for your videos. They are so helpful.

Hey Danny. You are so helpful to us golfers trying to improve our golf game and continue to improve. I really enjoy tips and drills to have consistent ball striking and avoid the tendency of powering down with my upper body and shoulders with the end resulting being an outside/in swing and slicing the ball. Your use of analogies are so helpful, throwing a baseball for example and leading with the legs and lower body and the arm having a whip affect. Thank you for all you do.

I'm new to golf and 68 years old. Every one of your videos seem like they're going to get me started properly. My epiphany is that nothing is more important than getting the ball in the hole. So I'm working on my short game. I can't wait to try these suggestions on the green tomorrow. Thanks for all your help!

I love your videos! “Coming over the top”. This continues to plague my game!
  • I'm thoroughly enjoying all your videos and I look forward to trying your putting tips on the practice green (and home). I've added so much distance to both my woods and irons, most from one simple tip (and executions), and that is to forget ALL that I've been learning and just become more athletically fluid. I was becoming too mechanical and stilted from trying to combine and implement so many different drills that I got away from being relaxed. Thanks, Danny, and keep the tips coming.
  • Hey Danny, I am working more on my alignment and lining up to my target at address. Making sure that I am set up properly. Thanks for all of your help and Love the videos. Keep them coming!
  • @shomey59
subscriber here. Love your videos. I am 76 and have lost a lot of distance over the years. I can no longer hit the ball over 200 yards. My short game and putting are still pretty good. I usually shoot in the mid 80’s. I could use some help with my second shots and I suspect a lot. Of other senior golfers might too. Cheers and keep up the great work
  • This is really helpful as a struggle to read greens. Would love to see a video about working out distances for each club including half swing, quarter swing etc.
  • @nickpaine316
Danny I would really appreciate more content on shaping longer iron shots, I personally struggle with anything longer than 6 iron. Thank you
  • @jasonwai83
One of the best putting videos I’ve seen in a long time. Love the practise at the end!
  • The putting area is my primary challenge and this video was very helpful. Areas for improvement - an effective pre-shot routine, course management, and managing the short game distances from various lies. Thanks for providing these golf insights.
  • Danny I’d love to see a series on how to get your kiddos started in golf. What are the important things to teach and instill? Always trying to keep it light and fun so they keep interested. Thanks as always!
  • @axelolsson3306
Hi Danny! I really, really like your videos, I haven't had the opportunity to take one of your lessons to the driving range yet, but I feel like I've already gotten a much better understanding of the golf swing and how you're supposed to hit the ball first with power and accuracy. I love that your drills are simple and concise so as to not having to think about a million things at the same time. I suspect it will take a lot of time and effort on the range to fix my golf swing, but thanks to you I have some hope now of how to go about improving my game. Can't wait to take your lessons to the driving range and giving it all a go! I would love more videos on those 30-70 yards shots where you need a half swing and get all scared of losing control and ending up fatting or topping the ball. Maybe also a video on how to make those high beautiful short game backspin shots that just lands on the green immediately stopping or even going backwards a bit. Thanks for all your great videos!
  • @ffalk11
Hi Danny, thanks so much for the great lessons and skill training sessions. would love to learn more about the game around the green (100 yards and in) and also how club selection should be considered when preparing the next stroke. Finally, some instruction on how to deal with lies in the rough, leaves or worse. THANKS!
  • Putting, chipping and pitching (distance control) are areas I’m struggling in. So this video about putting is really helpful and I’m definitely are giving this a thorough try. Thanks for your help!
