I think Josh Johnson’s performance at qb showed how much Purdy actually contributed to this offense. No matter how many weapons the 49ers had or who the coach is, Purdy was an integral piece to the offense. In Brock we trust

His composure in the pocket when it collapses is unreal! To think he was a rookie and he would just step up and make the throw even with pressure in his face. This man is special.

As a niner fan I never expected a third string quarterback to do this. Was a magical ride to witness Brock go out there and lay it all out on the field. It’s a shame what happened in the NFC championship, but at the same time that’s how football goes sometimes. I hope they name him the starter, because I see a future with him at quarterback. Hopefully ownership and management does as well. Go niners! 😄⛏️

I really like Purdy. Humble and doesn't feel as if he has arrived. What a gem they found with the last pick in the draft.

Purdy went from Last overall pick Mr Irrelevant, to having his name chanted in the stands, to being the starter for 6 games, and to now being San Fran’s franchise QB and full time starter. Incredible.

BP made this season so exciting. I think a lot of us can relate to Brock- an underdog who never lost faith in himself and just needed a shot. His number was called and he took advantage of the opportunity. BP deserves to be the starter and if healthy he'll prove it this summer.

As a Pats fan, gotta say that this kid is the real deal. Flawless throwing mechanics combined with excellent Football IQ and pressure sense inside the pocket. Hope he recovers well and come back next season stronger and hunger

I LOVE the passion the commentators have for Brock. Everyone just in amazement at what he’s done. My favourite was the “are you kidding me” when he put the brakes on the rushing lineman and drilled it to Deebo. So excited for next season and I hope he makes a full recovery and comes back even better. What a season.
