“If you’re a basketball fan and you don’t know who Penny Hardaway is then I won’t waste my breath telling you cause… you’re not a basketball fan.” - Chris Webber
  • I met Penny Hardaway when I was 12 years old. He was very nice and cool. At the time I was going through a lot because my mother was just killed. He obviously didn't know that but him shaking my hand just made one more day easier. This was in 1992. And I will tell you he is the greatest basketball player that I have ever seen with my own two eyes in person. And on TV I haven't seen nobody better unless it was Michael Jordan. Penny Hardaway was class personified on and off the court. Me trying to be like him kept me out a lot of trouble up until a certain point. He most definitely should be in the Hall of Fame oh, that should have happened long time ago. There is not one player that possess the skills that Penny Hardaway does collectively in my humble opinion. I have never seen anyone with better post foot moves and footwork. And he was like a human pogo stick Jumpin Out The Gym. And his defense was spectacular. And you could not leave him open from 3. The only person I've ever seen with a better mid-range shot than Penny Hardaway was Michael Jordan if that's even accurate. And his passing ability oh my goodness you talking about reflexes like a cat. I remember those days back in beginning of the 90s. Penny we forever love you thank you for all the great memories.
  • 1:56..one of the finest passes i`ve ever witnessed. Penny could move so amazingly smooth, it was a joy to watch..
  • @Sam-ky3su
A little bit of Magic and a little bit of MJ. Penny was damn exciting to watch.

One of my favorite players of all time wish he could’ve won a ring.
  • @KabutungKabayo
That block (on AI) and the hustle @ 4:15. Knowing that he's been ravaged with knee injuries at the time, that was just pure heart man!
  • My favorite player of all time. Everyone loves Jordan for being Jordan but Penny was my guy. The fact that he's such a stand up dude off the court is admirable as well!
  • @brunodosreis
My favorite player of all time based on skill, style, IQ and attitude. Penny is golden.
  • @bowdownclown
He's got Jordan, Magic, and TMac in him. Didn't realize he dunked on so many good players.

Penny's game was so silky smooth. Stylistically, his game meshed better with Shaq than Kobe's.

I had the pleasure of watching almost every one of these highlights live my dad lived in Brevard County and we used to watch all the magic games a privilege as a Young Man
  • @jxn23
Put him in the Hall of Fame already!!
  • @RandallWI
Man had Penny stayed healthy for the majority of his career, he would've won at least one championship. The man was 6'7 but had unbelievable court vision as a passer, was able to attack the rim, really good on defense and had one of the best jumpers you'll ever see... One of my favorite players to watch growing up and also the first jersey I ever had thanks to my dad... shame what injuries did, but in his prime with Shaq, this man was a walking bucket. Hbd to one of the 🐐🐐😎
  • Half Spin to the Step Back🤯 Still one of my favorite moves in Penny’s bag🫣
  • @E-Jizza
Best all around basketball player I've ever seen. Handle, pass, post game, score inside/out, rebound, finish and lead the break and a high basketball IQ. He could have been an all star at PG, SG, or SF.
  • @Cmoneyyful
One of the Greatest to ever touch a ball 💯
  • @SyMchale
I just love the way he dunks! The launch, the silhouette, the throw down, the sauce, all of it 👌
  • These are some crazy highlights, he dunked on almost every major center in the 90's! Salute!

Penny the true G.O.A.T for this generation which never had chance to see him he was like MJ, Kobe, Lebron and Magic all rolled up in one. With his commercials, shoes and other endorsements he was a true force to be reckoned with. If it wasn't for them knees and ankles he would've won multiple rings. You are not forgotten my guy! A true Legend in every since of the word.
