Friday Favorites: Pesticides in Marijuana

Published 2024-06-28
The biggest barrier to reducing toxic pesticides in cannabis is, not surprisingly, the cannabis industry itself.

I’ve been seeking organic cannabis. The only way is to grow your own. That way you are in control of what goes on your stash.
  • @Ded-Ede
Vote to make it legal to grow our own Garden greens for our health and wellness with teas, salads and tinctures 😊

I don't know big nothing gives me more joy than eating a WFPB Vegan diet, exercising daily, and finishing the day off with a J. It's my only vice. I don't feel it's that bad since I am so healthy otherwise.
  • @gammaraygem
I can quit the weed, but the roundup..never
  • @alison9189
I wonder how different it is in Canada, since it is much more regulated in the legal market.
  • @KYLE-zo4bm
stupid me didn't even think about this as an occasional user

I have a serous problem with this - Most of the data admitted in this video is at least 10 years old.

Pesticides, fertilizers and weed killers are poisoning us and the environment. Bees, butterflies and birds are in decline.
  • Yet again the problem stems directly from the large corporate interests that guide the government's policies to profit solely for themselves and not for individual users (both in regard to health and convenience). Like everything else the purpose is to have absolute control at all cost, and to leave none for the users. As others have stated, if users could just legally grow their own crops, collect the seeds etc., then there would be no need to use dispensaries or even government regulators since they alone would control their own product from start to finish.

DAMN IT this is the only topic I get defensive about. idk dr

I watch all this guy's videos and he is legit. I follow a whole food plant based diet now, to about the 95th percentile. But I tell ya -- watch enough of his videos and you realize ya can't eat, drink, or smoke anything good. I miss the 1990s, back before everything was bad for ya.

Very important issue. This is part of the reason why I think all illegal drugs and substances should be decriminalized and just taxed and regulated on their sales. The revenue collected on the sales taxes would be used to help fund the improvement and expansion of drug rehabilitation and research and information programs and maybe help reduce the costs of both physical and mental healthcare services. This may at least help make marijuana and recreational drugs safer to use while rehabilitation programs help decrease the demand for drugs and substances. Thank you for this information. Enjoy your weekend!
