Measuring "initial quality" is like trusting the 5 star online shopper reviews from people that say "I haven't opened the product yet but it's amazing."

JD Power has always been a pay for play “award”

All I know is my sister purchased a beautiful Durango earlier this year. Since then it’s been in for warranty work twice including right now and it’s waiting for a module that’s on back order due to the chip shortage so God knows how long that’s going to be. Yep that’s JDP's definition of initial quality. On the other hand, my mom's new Charger is doing pretty good so far, fingers crossed tight on that one. I told them both not to buy Chrysler vehicles especially since a Toyota, Honda, Mazda or Subaru is roughly the same money and all are better than any domestic brand.

JD Power will provide an "award" for anyone who pays them.

"Initial Quality" is good on all vehicles. The acid test is quality after 8-10 years of use.

Key word is first 90 days of ownership which from my experience with the Cherokee I rented UConnect is very easy to use and overall the entire vehicle. How they rate it is complaints from owners ranging from Bluetooth connection to mechanical issues and basically no car should have mechanical problems in the first 90 days. Only brand I’ve heard of having severe mechanical issues in the first 90 days is GM with their POS Escalade, Bolt, Equinox, and Silverado

Could JD Powers do a review on my own-made Go-Kart, as long the welds hold for more than 90 days.

We have a u-pick-it right up the road. I went there today and got a mint OEM wheel with tire (full size spare) and two shift knobs for $70.

Nice video. As far as oil cleaners , Rislone sells a decent product(s). Most people use it on old engines that have noisy lifters, But on an old engine it might start burning oil (it cleans sludge off rings and valve seals) Not a bad trade off - you might get a smoother running engine! It costs less than half of that product you mentioned.

I don't listen to JD Powers, I do my own research and I listen to Scotty.
