As someone who has an abusive mom, I always really enjoyed hearing him diss his mom. It was almost a vicarious experience since very few abuse victims ever get that kind of opportunity to air out their grievances and really expose and embarrass these people, especially when it's your mom because 95% of the time everyone takes her side and blames you no matter what.

I just read a comment and it reminded me of why I love him so much. He's not cocky and raps about his real life struggles. Let's not forget, most rappers diss people on the regular and brag. Eminem's different.

I first heard Eminem when I visited the states in 2000. I came home with the 1st 2 CDs and a serious crush. 23 years later, recovery from alcohol, 2 life threatening illnesses and this man still lights me on fire.

Lesson learned: You can hate him, you can dis him, you can try to tear him apart but Eminem isn’t going to break. His talent is unsurpassed and his drive is relentless. You don’t simply claw your way up and out of nothing and then crumble when folks take shots at you. He IS a pillar and will always stand.

He’s been my all time fav since I saw him “by mistake” at the chronicles tour in the 90’s. I came for Ludacris, Snoop, Dre, and Ice Cube… but he was a special guest and now he’s still number 1 in my book decades later. ❤

That Michael Jackson diss was the most funny and disrespectful one he's made. Really made me think of MJ different too for being so sensitive to the point where he endorsed protests against Eminem tried to get his video taken down Edit: before you come in with the "MJ owns his catalogue, he bought multiple artist's catalogues, his reasoning for buying Eminem's wasn't because of their beef
