Don't worry, it has already been confirmed by the director that Raz's master is not the ovelord but a new character😊

I personally loved it, I especially liked how poorly arins treated he, he feels like he can’t help the ninja and is even more stressed after losing his parents after briefly seing them, he then got beat up by raz and even when he thought he helped by doing his object spinjitzu it was sora using there tech powers (I do feel bad for him still tho), I also love how menacing raz is, he sits around most of the season but the fight with him arin and ryu just showed how much power he has and makes it even scarier to think of how powerful his master is.
  • @legodgstudios
I really disagree, season was great, also what you mentioned about Arin is "wrong" because he's character arc is not being able to become better

Personally I think have things unfinished was a good thing because this is what I feel like these season should be the first half letting arch’s and conflicts up while the second half goes though them.
  • @dangerbuffrocky
I think I can tolerate the unfinished nature of it as at least we got to see how this is clearly a Part 1 of a 2-part story, with the second part being a whole tournament arc that will most likely pay off most of the story of this season.

I loved seeing Kai being treated as more than a joke. His relationship with wyldfire was really good as well as his relationship with Nya. I loved all of the scenes that he was in. Yes I even enjoyed the scene where ras hit him into the portal.

honestly I kinda loved it? the character writing was rlly good imo, especially when u consider how many different people they're juggling now. don't mind it ending in a hollow victory when you consider that it's halfway through a season

Season 2 was amazing and honestly some of the best Ninjago content ever, gave me some real season 8 and 9 vibes. Also even when you’re in the positive section you talked about negatives, wasn’t a good review if you can’t even separate the two.
  • @Turbo_Marto_Lol
Bro it's only the first part, relax your "review" is really raw Personally I liked it. Things I like most and disliked most: Liked most: -- Kai, Nya, Arin and Lloyd's characterization (The rest were good too, but those ones were incredible and most outstanding) -- Ras is so many times better than he was in Season 1 - Cinder and Jordana's characters and their dynamic -- The fact that Shatterspin and Rising Dragon aren't just another cliche techniques, they are well fleshed out with backstories, we know who created each of them. We see that Shatterspin unlike Forbidden Spinjitsu is ACTUALLY hard to stop. And Rising Dragon technique unlike Dragon Form gets unlocked when each Ninja finds harmony in their own way, balances etc. and moreover was practiced throughout multiple episodes and not like Dragon Form which was so Spinjitsu in the air in front of your friends and didn't come with any special abilities (Destroying the Crystal army doesn't count, Sally literally destroyed them with her guitar and Dareth with a wooden bat) What I disliked: -- Zane's character (Everyone is so focused on Bonzle and throughout multiple episodes claimed how she isn't just a spell but an actual living being with emotions. That's not the case with Zane. All he does is robotic things like before and even when the Administration calls him a machine and uses "It" as pronouns he barely even tries to prove them otherwise or even talk back) -- "SOME" parts of the season have bad pacing (Of course every single one of those issues can be fixed with part 2, that's just what I think based on part 1)

Here are the things i liked/disliked I liked how they make Kai the main character for a bit, the climax, the bond between Wlydfire and Kai grows. I DONT LIKE HOW THEY GAVE JAY SO LITTLE SCREEN TIME AND HOW THEY DON’T SHOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OLD MASTER OF SMOKE CUZ THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE MASTER OF A CERTAIN THING AT A TIME!!!!!
  • @minitiger6169
4:02 Bonzle stopped the Portal, not that guy. And also they didn't know the plan from Lloyd visions. They know it from the leader of the Cloudkingdom people

I like the season so much I barely hate it. This season is so mysterious and amazing by the way the other dragon name is rontu
  • @Silly_cereal
what I think the think drs2 is suffering from most is the episode release format, dropping it all in one go made the middle part of the season rather slow while all the exciting fights are in the beginning and end.
  • @hayd23043
I would say that ninjago dragons rising season 2 is my 3rd favorite season, tournament of elements is my favorite, and master of the mountain is my 2nd favorite
  • @dangerbuffrocky
The only bad thing was that the Cole and Zane story lingered on for too long in Episodes 9 and 10. I also feel like your're complaining that there's no immediate payoff for certain arcs (Arin's arc, training arc etc.) when all of those are meant to be expanded upon in the second half of the season. In addition , I wouldn't call the training arc useless because Lloyd and Nya still ended up mastering Rising Dragon Technique anyway, and there were callbacks to previous moments in the season, especially with Lloyd.
  • @minitiger6169
1:13 He actually had a great character arc. Just not the one you expected🤷🏽‍
  • @minitiger6169
0:36 I love that in the season. It's my favorite part of it😍 Also the pacing is just GREAT in this
