Tbh this works better for studying than the chill hip hop music, especially when I'm tired. The chill music is great, but when I'm sleepy, it is a bit too soothing. This is the perfect blend of keeping me awake and not distracting me with lyrics. 10/10
  • Months of listening to 'healing' spa music with no results. An hour into this and I feel reborn.

I'm a dedicated Christian for 11 years and even a minister for Christ for the last 5 years. I just can't get over my affinity for heavy metal!! I love the sound of electric guitar and a blasting drum set!! These instrumentals help me enjoy the sound I love without having to hear satanic or negative lyrics!! Thank you for this!!!šŸ˜ƒšŸ˜ƒšŸ˜ƒ

no vocals and no adds but lots of heavy drums and guitar riffs....my god this just might be HEAVEN
  • I used to listen to this track a lot when it was posted in 2015. I was in the process of opening a music instruments shop and can remember playing it over and over through one of the PA systems in the shop while soldering guitar and microphone cables until the early hours of the morning. This month I am closing the shop due to decrease in sales caused by the knock on effects of the corona pandemic. I thought it only appropriate to also listen to this mix on repeat while I am in the process of closing. This is some great music and brings back some great memories!
  • I have recently started an office job. Let me tell you what: listening to chill music when you're sitting and concentrating only leads to you almost falling asleep. Now THIS... a metal instrumental mix is perfect, no lyrics, no distractions, great riffs, maximum concentration. Perfect!

This is something that helps me pick myself up whenever I am down. Even without a single word, this makes me feel powerful! The power of music!
  • It's been 5 years since i first heard this, still jamming to it today. It's a hell of an instrumental.
  • I've tried all the "classical music for studying" and "zen spa music" and all the "relaxing" and "improved focus" none of it has worked. Within the first thirty seconds I fell in love with this. Thank you so much it has helped me focus as I usually get distracted easily with school work. Thanks for taking the time to create this video, it's helped me and I'm sure hundreds of other people.

I am 26 years old and addicted to the old music. 5 hours of listening this and Iā€™m still not getting enough from it ā¤

I discovered this in 9th grade while recovering from a broken knee, loved it immediately, and helped me a lot. Had never listened to metal/rock before and it's been 5 years since I'm now in community college this helps me study.
  • @Tabby1
This is a blessing. It overwhelms the feeling of "Fuck I can't do this I'm going to fail I hate this so much" with "Fuck yeah this is awesome let's go!"
  • @pablosacreta92
you should change the title to Relaxing Heavy Metal for Studying, it works actually.
  • This is a perfect music mix for a procrastinator like me. More energetic than lofi to keep me alert, consisten enough to help me focus, and no lyrics to distract me šŸ™Œ
  • I just have to say how much I enjoy this compilation! The selections were made with taste; consistently interesting and aesthetic rock segments. No distracting vocals. Energetic. I listen to it over and over, especially when I'm trying to get some work done.
