This is what always puzzled me about history all these documentaries about history it's r really not precise that all these things actually happened because the writers and historians and archeologist were not back there during that period that's why u have to do your own research

Mali bankrupted Egypt so the Moors wouldn't have competition in the Mediterrean. The Moor and Mali connection through the Manasah tribe bond isn't fully known.

Rich history as Mali became Muslim had taken on Arab culture mix with African. Islam came with the Arabs and others as it got into Southern Spain and Portugal. Black people lived in Mecca long before Islam. We see people like Bilal bin Rabah in Arabia. Men like him would have come with migration to Africa and Iberia.
