We will never know the struggle our parents went through until we become parents. Allahmdulillah for both of my parents! May Allah (swt) grant them jannahtul firdus

I just had my first baby and was severely struggling with a sleep schedule too. I read this book called Precious Little Sleep and it helped a lot. There are many gentle sleep training methods you can do when baby is still young, and they are actually harder to train when they are older because their habits are more settled. Check out the book or audiobook when u have time!

Love listening to Louisa’s advices. It’s on point, esp about the “big feelings”

There are many different baby cries besides hunger. They cry to get their nappy changed, they cry from gas discomfort, they cry because they need a nap. all those things a father can 1000% help with and should in order to bond with his child. the burden of parenthood is for 2. Being a present husband is great but it is necessary to also be a present dad in more ways than just a provider! This works for louisa and ahmed may Allah preserve them but just know for most its best for your relationship if you are a more hands on father!

aw i love louisa and ahmed, favorite couple out there, allahumma barik!!!!
  • I really enjoyed Ahmed explanation of how he was raised to earn things and how it shaped him. As a single mother to a son I would appreciate it so much if you and Louisa did a video or series of videos about how you were raised. The ways your mother raised you to become the muslim gentleman you are today Allahuma baarik. Please consider this video when you feel back up to it. Louisa allah ikoun m3aki ou isabrek 3la marth jedatek ❤

beautiful family mashaAllah the advice and including Allah constantly in the video is beautifully. I believe the same thing about the baby crying, but once all the needs have been met yes around 8-9 months you can start letting them cry to sleep train them so you can start having night times to sleep. recommend sleep training it takes about 3-4 nights of pain for parents but after that they sleep the whole night and its like night and day
