Watching him play football was like watching a man play with children... he stood out so much.

Who said Deon don't hit. His little skinny but was agressive 💪🏿💪🏿
  • It’s crazy that I was born in his home town, went to the same high school...look up to him as my favorite player, and then my great uncle raymond Hicks married his mom..that’s priceless
  • Neon Deon that's what we called him at FSU. He helped make the program, stadium, fans, what it is today. Class of 77, ticket holder for many years. Saw it all and screamed my lungs out. Proud member of Lady Seminoles. Go Noles! So proud of you Deon😊

What made Deion Sanders so great was, outside of his natural athleticism, Olympic track speed and swagger, his natural instinct, ive yet to see another CB with his instinct. The man was a ball hawk, he was always afound the ball even if the QB went to the opposite side, Deion was already breaking to that side, by the time that QB chose his receiver. So glad i grew up in this era of NFL/ NCAA Football. Deion, Bo, Barry, Emmett, Troy, Jerry, Elway, Marino, Lott, Cunningham, Favre, Montana, Young, Tim Brown, The Sharpes, Thurman, Kelly etc.....i mean damn what an era.
  • One of the greatest god given athletes ever to walk The planet with that swag and could back it up with a World class performance

It’s amazing how players set records back then with those huge shoulder pads.

I went to my first FSU football game in 1988 in Deion's senior year, and was hooked. I love 80s and 90s FSU football. Those were some exciting teams to watch.

One thing I learned from this video that I wasn't aware of - Deion was a beast against the run in his early years.

Prime time was crackin some heads back in his college days!! I didn't expect him to be a physical tackler....
  • Man this dude is one of my all time players besides Eric Dickerson I got an A on a school report about him there will never be another Prime Time in my book!!!!
  • what a difference between freshman Deion and Senior Prime Time. He was amazing.
  • Damn .. he was the man even way back in the day . What an honor to be able to see him play in college

By far one of the greatest athletes to ever play professional sports. Period. He was a serious threat on both the football field and baseball field, and was the flash in track. "Neon Deion" aka "Prime Time" was a rare talent, if you got to watch him you you were a fan unless your team was playing against. 🤣

Deion and Michael Irvin had some terrific battles. Both Hall of famers now. Great stuff.
