I wrote/recorded this song in 2003, I was 20 years old and did everything heard. I cannot believe this was almost 10 years ago now. Scary how time flies.
This song originally started as a very basic acoustic guitar track (which is only faintly heard in the background), the first demos sounded something like an instrumental John Mayer song, there was no initial intention of electric guitar lead lines; layer by layer, it expanded. A song is finished when I sit back and feel nothing can be added.
See if you can make out the clicking around 0:55 going along with the beat, that is my dog walking across hardwood floor, the clicks were cut rhythmically, timecorrected, to match the time signature. This sound is more audible around 4:33.
Recorded with Nuendo2 on a 1.8ghz computer, 1GB ram... Line6 FlexToneHD Amp direct.
