I love that your short films address the struggles artists have with ourselves. This time last year, when you released IMUGI, I hadn't drawn anything in a long time because - as an engineer - I believed no art I made would ever be of worth. This year I'm drawing again, though I still fight myself over mediocrity as I try to relearn the skills I've forgotten, and this story is once again incredibly encouraging and applicable to myself. Beyond getting good, in the end it's about love for what we do. You perfectly captured what inspiration feels like. Thank you and the team for telling these stories through your craft :)
  • I had goosebumps when Laon told Jiyoon why she started doing NajeonChilgi. It made me remember the first time I saw my neighbor draw. He inspired me to draw for the first time like how Grandma Lee Chun Yeon inspired Laon. I'm indebted to him for being a part of who I am today. This is such an amazing work and I hope to see more~ 💙

I found a tarp with normal seashells arranged on it once, beside a pile of furniture that hadn´t gotten to the trash car yet. Now it´s on my wall. We should treasure art more.

Really beautiful work!! I love the sweet tenderness of the story, from the artistic struggles of grandma's younger years to Laon's childhood memories that lead her to this craft. I also felt that feeling of wonder as grandma's work shimmered under the light in the dark. Your sense of color and lines are also a treat to the eye, I absolutely love this film! :')

Truly so beautiful! The colors, mood, animation, story, I really loved the theme of pursuing a craft for the wonder it sparks in yourself. I loved the last line especially. Thank you for your work!
