    Right after graduating high school (around 2011) I was on the way to the drag strip in my 1994 Trans Am. I got on the freeway to no one in the way, so I let er eat. I got up to 155, my trans exploded and the front end of the driveshaft dropped and bounced between the trans tunnel and the street until I eventually got pulled over on the shoulder. I had previously removed the bracket that prevented that exact situation from happening, because it was rattling on my new exhaust. I've thought about that moment a lot since then and always double check shit before just deleting it from the car. I like to think I'm not as dumb anymore...
