It's my duty to protect my flock. I pack every sunday, and my congregation knows it and loves it.

How did I not hear about this incident at the church?! Oh, I know. It’s because The shooter was stopped by good guys with guns. This should be all over the news.

I’m a 60yo married southern woman who raised 3 kids & has 7 grandkids. Not 1 adult in my family goes anywhere without a gun & extra magazines of ammo. I carry a 9mm on my hip and a 2nd magazine in my bag. My husband was in LE for over 45yrs, our sons & son in law all served in the military. We sadly lost our oldest son, our youngest & son in law were both wounded, our son twice 1st IED & 2nd by homicide bomber. The world has gone crazy and I don’t plan on getting caught unable to defend myself or my family. It would be great not to have to think about this stuff but when questioned about carrying I always remind people of the shooting at that theater. If only 1-2 people didn’t do as the sign said and kept their guns maybe they could’ve stopped that shooting sooner. Don’t get me wrong, I hope and pray I never find myself needing to use my weapon but if I do…I’ll have it & I know how to use it.

Years ago in South Carolina law abiding men were required to bring guns to church.

Everyone does at mine in NC. I know 3 ladies over 70 who have some little one. Also, we have security that trains for break ins and people who pull a gun on the church. Good for Louisiana people

These are very practical Catholics. They don't even ask you have faith in God. They just send you directly to meet him.
