Koji Kondo is the most iconic video game composer. And before there's a reply of "but Toby Fox!" let me state the reminder that Mario became popular (1980s) before Toby Fox was even born (1991). Anyways that main theme sounds so light-hearted and fun! I can totally see SPG doing a vocal cover of it some day! :_spgPog: Idk about you but I can almost hear Koji Kondo's relief and joy in composing music again after a well-deserved break. (Synth oboe you say? Correct answer :P :_spgKappa:)

The trumpet version of the song (2nd half) plays when you have the elephant power-up. The normal version plays otherwise.

I absolutely loved the ost! It's full of joy without being overwheilming. My favorite ones were the Wiggler Race, the credits song, the athletic theme, airship and all the musical levels. Alos, I loved your violin rendition! It would be a blast to hear you play something from the Galaxy games or Mario Kart 8

Just finished wonders final leveltwo days ago, and oh god yes, the music was amazing all throughout the game. Heavy recommendation on listening to more tracks and playing the game yourself

Please check out Darkest Dungeon 1's soundtrack (and eventually 2 maybe) by Stuart Chatwood. It has some of the best "hopelessness against horrid foes" vibe I've personally ever heard in a videogame soundtrack. The cello and brass in the combat themes are especially amazing
