  • We all foresaw Garchomp being first. Devs knew exactly what they are doing when they made it Cynthia’s ace.
  • Water ground is such an OP typing. Only weak to grass 4 times and can learn sludge bomb and ice beam against grass type Pokemon if holding quick claw.
  • Ground type is by far my favorite typing out of them all. You can make an incredible team in any Sinnoh game: Torterra Gliscor Gastrodon Garchomp Mamomswine Hippowdon With Graveler, Steelix, Ryhperior on the bench
  • @Rogue284
Great video! Looking forward to the Poison types.

Dugtrio should definitely be on the list. Massive speed combined with arena trap preventing switching make it a monstrously powerful revenge KOer and give it a ton of control to force good matchups. Pair it with a focus sash to almost guarantee it can out speed and 2 hit the next mon as well.

Wait where is my Mudsdale with leftovers and Impish nature??? Its ability Stamina raises defense each time it gets hit, Iron Defense raises Defense sharply, Heavy Slam outputs amazing damage due to Mudsdale being the heaviest pokemon in existence. You can also use Mudsdale to set up sandstorm. That leaves a move space left to choose, personally I like to put High Horsepower.

Knew Number 1 before watching, one of my all time favorites!
  • Been using Mudsdale on my Pokemon Violet run and it's been such a force with it's high HP, attack and defense and it's Sturdy ability that boosts it's defense every time it takes a hit. With a base 35 speed, I'm sure it wouldn't qualify for this list, but I think it deserves a shoutout.
  • Hey when Pokemon scarlet and violet come out will you be doing all the list over again?🙂
  • With scarlet and violet coming soon you should do a re ranking of the game rivals
  • @joeyteter9383
Ooh, Poison is my second favorite type so in pretty stoked! 🤟🏼

Here are some other good Ground typing's that may not be as Strong as the ones here in the top 10 but here goes. Camerupt: May be slow but Fire/Ground is a nice typing and it can learn Solarbeam to cover its 2 weaknesses (Ground and the 4x weakness to Water) Flygon: Original Dragon/Ground Mon, maybe not as powerful as Garchomp but can learn a lot of good coverage attacks and has levitate and can learn Dragon dance, something Garchomp can't learn Claydol: Maybe not the best typing (Ground/Psychic), but also has levitate and plenty of coverage (Rockslide, Body Press) Torterra: Used it in PokeMon Diamond and Ultra Sun (Thanks to Radar Scan), despite the 4x weakness to Ice I enjoyed using it. But it can learn Rockslide to cover all its weaknesses. Golurk: Great typing (Original Ground/Ghost Mon) and has Iron Fist, which is good if you decide to teach it the Elemental Punches, and can learn Fly and immune to 3 types

Half of the list plus an honorable mention being Sinnoh mons makes me happy.

Poison types next. I used to have a soft spot for Poison, but I really started to realize just how bad it is after I started following WolfeyVGC. So I'm curious to hear which ones are actually worth the time.
