Most of these people didnt need a surgeon, they needed a psychologist!
-
I feel like I watched a video about mental illness, without mental illness being mentioned.
-
Dangerous combination of too much money and major unresolved psychological issues.

I've had four life saving surgeries. Nothing could induce me to have elective surgery. I worked for a woman who had nasal cancer that left one side of her face caved in. Of course, her doctors wanted her to have reconstructive surgery. She asked her husband if he wanted her to do it. He told her she was beautiful, he wasn't in love with her face. She never had it and never regretted it. I think her courage is inspiring.

I am 65. I will keep my wrinkles. I worked hard and earned every one of them.

My cousin in Europe always warned me not to go under the knife if I don't have to. That was over 50 plus years ago. I took his advise seriously. He was a surgeon.
-
My gosh, how ironic that those who want to become more beautiful end up totally destroying the beauty they once had and become hideous instead.

I had reconstructive surgery done to my entire face after a horrific car crash. I still have all those wires inside my face, since it is not necessary to remove them, I chose not to go through the pain removing them. The Doctor who did my reconstructive surgery was a very, very good doctor. I would never trust a regular plastic surgeon who is used to doing breast implants and nose jobs to take my wires out. I'm happy with the way I look. I look almost as if that car wreck never happened.

Some years ago I worked with a brilliant plastic surgeon. He told me the most gratifying part of his job is helping people who suffered facial congenital birth defects, deformed by accidents and above all correcting the horrors of other plastic surgeons. He told me that he asks each one of his patients to undergo a psychological exam and if they do not pass then he refuses to operate. I think he is not the norm. Show me the money and I'll do to you what you want is the norm.

They all looked so much better before they destroyed themselves.

What? No Madonna?

Getting older is a privilege denied to many.

I saw my mom pulling back the skin by her neck. I told her that when I’m older, and one day may not have her, I hope I see her in my face and grandma in my hands. I hope I see my father in my crooked teeth. I don’t want perfection, I want reminders of my origin story. What a privilege to live long enough to see myself transform into those I’ve loved. It makes me excited to age, especially when so many young people I’ve known, will never get the chance to grow those wrinkles.

Plastic surgery was invented to help the disfigured. Not for the beautiful to become disfigured.

Mental health needs addressed here!

All of these people have PERMANENTLY messed their self up.. It's truly sad because the level of insecurity in the entertainment industry is mind blowing..
-
This is not plastic surgery, it is selfmutilation!
-
The irony of people pursuing beauty ending up repulsive.
