John P. Kee & New Life - Strength - (Concert)

Listening in 2024... still anointed... Real gospel music

JPK says " i dont like that key" , "go up to F-Sharp". This is a musician. He does not get credit for ushering in the New Gospel (with that funk and hot sauce). Kirk Franklin is not the originator of the stepped up Gospel. This is the man who did it first.

I'm 22 years old now, and when I take time to reflect on my life, I see GOD guiding me through all of the storms. I have Hydrocephalus, and have had nearly 100 brain operations since the age of 2. With every breath that I am able, I will sing of the Goodness of GOD! Praise Jesus Christ!!

He lives in me today and he’s study making a way for me to enjoy abundant life. So if you don’t know by now Jesus rose and he lives!!!!!

What a friend I have in Jesus, He has carried me through the worst storms of my life when the enemy wanted to kill me I'm still alive and healthy... Praise be to God 🙌🏽 🛐

This one brought tears to my eyes as I remember my childhood. I grew on on these albums. I learned to play the bass on these songs.

I thank God for this man!! Soooo many memories listening/singing his songs with my grandma when i was kid.. thankful & forever greatful that i can Always fall back on his music decades later when im being spiritually attacked or just wanna plain ole worship Him! Thank you Jesus!! 💯🙏🏾🎶

My entire childhood! Nostalgic. My goodness, this was when gospel music was intentional. Lead by the holy spirit/anointing. healing, deliverence,saved, chains broken!

John has been consistent in Ministry! He has touched Millions!

Man I loved this live video! I had it on VHS tape when I was a teenager! I loved the Eastside/Westside song/rap! So sincere! Back when there really was such a thing as Christian Rap! Brought back great memories!

John P. Kee is the James Brown of Gospel Music...directing the band, choir and changing keys in the middle of a song...all while praising God! Love It!

John P Kee is anointed to sing this is the ministry in him. He makes the music a joy to sing and worship Christ. His background singers enjoy their worship. Its suppose to be this way. Can hear stand FOREVER!

My absolute favorite John P. Kee Album! I remember when it was recorded here in ATL when I was a small kid. My family got all dressed up and went to the concert at what was then, Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. They left me at home with my tambourine, and they STILL have to hear about it til this day, and I'm grown. (IDC) A couple of months later, John returned to ATL to Morehouse College at the MLK Chapel. They took me and I got to see him in concert and I got to meet John and Sheila. I knew then he'd be my favorite gospel artist of all time. That Christmas I got this VHS tape. THIS became my framework for gospel music. I learned how to sing with this album. This live concert is STILL fire, years later.

I love John P.Kee, and Fred Hammond, them and their old songs never get old, that's right, because the power of God was in them👏🏽👏🏽. This is ONE of my favorites ("I Do Worship"). Amen
